Ayurveda
is the "science of living," a health science from
India which has existed for over 3,000 years. According
to Ayurveda, each person and his or her health problem is
unique, requiring an individually tailored treatment program.
Modalities include food, lifestyle/daily routine, herbal
formulas, cleansing procedures, as well as yoga and meditation.

Health Programs
Initial consultation is one hour, and includes a thorough
assessment of: personal and health history, particulars
of your primary concern and a traditional Ayurvedic assessment
of pulse, tongue, face and nails. A program is given according
to the causative factors of the condition. Cost is $120.
Follow-up consultations are half an hour, and may make use
of client journals to assess progress or challenges. Adjustments
in the program will be made accordingly, until the desired
results are achieved and the client has the skills and knowledge
to prevent a reoccurrence of the health problem. At each
consultation the client is educated on the principles of
Ayurveda, as they apply to the client's specific condition
and needs. Cost is $60. Consultations are also available
by phone for out-of-town clients.
All prospective clients may take
advantage of a free 20 minute intake by phone with Mr. Van
Loon. This is an opportunity to tell your story, ask questions
and get an idea of what will be involved in your particular
health program.
